Could someone please give me a clue what.this could be.driving along and it starts to judder and slow down .turn off.start and drives no bother.no warning lights on you can hear pump in rear making noise all the time.t has done this for a few days now.
What could it be.

Describe better at what rpm starts the tricks ? Is it happening under load only or even at light throttle or how ?

Your driving along at say 50.and it sometimes just starts.but if left till next day it starts up and drives good .then abit later it starts all over again

Check for oil in the ECU red plug

I had a similar problem it was the filter blocked in the fuel tank, basically fuel starvation,

Had the car long?
New noise?
Is it a 2001 blue model?

If it's happening when it get warm (as happened to me) it was the injector loom that needed replacing -but only with genuine!
