So, after replacing the bushes on the front and rear radius arms, arb, and the watts linkage, I was hoping that the annoying knocking would go away, but it hasn't!
I've been underneath and given stuff a kick and push, but there's nothing obviously loose, broken or worn, so has anyone else has a similar issue? It's a metal on metal sound rather than a thump or thud, and more frustratingly, it's really hard to determine whether it's the front, back or middle of the car, but if I had to pick any of them, I'd go for the middle / rear.

get someone to rock car vigorously whilst you check , a hand on each part in turn helps

Have you tried going around underneath and giving everything a good whack. You can often rule things in or out as they won't sound like the knock you hear.

shockie bush ? sway bar links ? exhaust hitting due to bad engine mounts or an exhaust mount
some times you need the weight off to test curtain components

All the new shocks had new bushes fitted when they were replaced, however, the arb droplinks have never been renewed during my ownership, so I'm thinking of getting them replaced anyway.

Not cornering?

If it was as well, drop links.

When speedbump hit, was it front or back?
No, not when cornering.. even at 50ish, there's no kncoking. It just seems to be when something is hit, or the wheels drop in to a hole. I think it's coming from the back, but it's quite difficult to tell.
