Okay so to cut a long story short I have 2 disconnected and unknown wires in my Defender 90 TD5 XS (03 Reg)

One is a back wire with a ring terminal on one end (which is attached to the screw which holds the fuse box panel is place) and the other end is an insulated bullet connector.

The other wire is coming from a blue connection terminal in the fuse box and on the lose end there is another insulated bullet connector. (can't tell the colour of this as I'm colour blind)

Any help as to what they could be/where they may go would be helpful

they look aftermarket and could of been a Live feed and ground for a Cb radio or other application
 
As BearDy says, they are both added on by a previous owner. It could have been for any reason (I wouldn't have thought it would be anything to do with a winch though). Maybe looking at what fuse they were attached to might give a hint, but personally i wouldn't spend the effort worrying about it. It's fine to take them off in any case.
 
Hmmm okay thanks alot I'll remove the one attached to the screw tomorrow.

As for the other one as shown it's attached to a blue "fuse block"
Don't think I should mess around with it as everything is functioning and the rest of the wires coming from that block do seem to be attached. What do you think, just tuck it away?
 
Don't worry, my 1992 110 has at least ten unknown wires, which I've insulated and marked on white electrical tape as "mystery". Learnt the hard way to bypass dodgy wires too. In hindsight, I would love to know what all those wires actually do.

Yep, leave well alone if everything is working and don't do what I did. I saw a wire which appeared to go nowhere and was doing nothing so I ripped it out. Now my rear wipers don't work.
