Some kind of attachment bracket but not something I could pin down beyond that. By the looks mounted externally.

It's bugging me as to where they came from, I was hoping someone would know straight away :)
They haven't been chopped off or anything that's how they came off the landy

ha, bit heavy duty for that, cant understand the adjustable bolts, must have been one each side and something bolted to ut
Was just a thought - if they were taken off 5 years back it could be 20 years since they were fitted....and the early bike racks were much heavier duty (as were the bikes back in the day.....)
A mate had a Saab with tow bar and bike rack set up that involved steel tubes forming a V.

+1
I had a bike rack fitted behind the tow-ball back in the 'eighties that would have supported anything the rear suspension could cope with, that was how racks were constructed back then.

Well I'm disappointed in you lot, not being able to identify a bracket from a 1984 V8 110
Ok, you win and we give up!!..................so what are they?........................or do you want to come over and join the lot you are dissapointed with?:D:p

Have a look under the rear crossmember to see if you can find matching bolt holes.
