they also insure my my old vauxhall nova for £160 a year with no ncb both on limited mileage and cant use for going work etc

Price's are ok, no ncd at that money still ok
BUT
What is the mileage and when can you use it?

3000 mile on each, i will not cover that in any off them, just cant use them to go to work in, there both just toys don't really get used enough

Just had renewal for 1989 90 TD standard van. Owner, driver 18yrd + Dad added as additional driver.

After shopping round now putting it on a multi car policy with Mum's 1 litre Pixo

£1350 fully comp for both with Aviva

Pixo was £250 last year.

Sainsbury £1000 with legal & green flag for landie just son owner driver fully comp (19, 1yr ncd)
Sainsbury Pixo £151 with legal and curtsy car for mum and dad fully comp.

Dad can drive landie on 3rd party on own insurance.

Its rare that these black box companies allow it on these older defenders. I have a 1989 90 and I'm 17 although I haven't passed my test yet, I have been quoted £990 from aviva

I'm 22, and have just insured my 1999 Disco 2 for £1600 via Churchill, but that's fully comp, covers me for 12,000 miles and allows for commuting.

Im 21, had a licence for three years but 0 no claims (they ran out as I wasn't driving for a while). I have called up loads of insurers, including Direct Line, Footman James, Lancaster and Adrian Flux, however my best quote was through confused.com with Diamond.

Although Diamond is "tailored for girls" they have to insure males too due some discrimination stuff. I called them up, let them know about the modification (bullbars) and asked them about mileage, which is around 5000 a year.

With local breakdown cover, it is just over £600 for a 90 2.5 petrol. The 4x4 and classic insurers were all saying it would be £700, directline quoted over £900.

It just took some time fiddling about with the numbers, named drivers etc. but this is the best quote I've got after a week of looking.
