Land Rover Defender 90
300tdi with approx 150k on the engine. Brand new gearbox and transfer box from Ashcroft transmissions.
Many modifications added over the last 10 years or so. Never got chance to use in anger off-roading, just used as a lamping vehicle on the farm. Currently has no MOT as it has been dry stored for the last 2 years (children and house renovations have got in the way of using it)
QT performance castor corrected front radius arms, cranked rear trailing arms, QT wide angle prop shafts front and rear, 2" lift kit, Pro Comp ES9000 dampers, heavy duty winch bumper, sump guard, fuel tank guard, heavy duty steering arms, new steering box, new A-frame ball joint 1 year ago, has handbrake conversion from Difflock.com, new seat box fitted when gearbox was done, rear dislocation cones, heavy duty front suspension turrets, Insaturbo Sahara tyres with loads of tread left.
Roof has been modified with welded 1"box steel to form an opening for lamping. Very strong, does not leak water and cannot be opened from outside.
Comes with pedal box lock to prevent it being stolen. Interior has all carpets and sound proofing removed as it was in too bad condition when seat box was replaced. New seat bases and seat covers. Interior flood light for work at the rear or inside. Doors are in poor condition but are structurally sound. Comes with dog guard and rear bench seat.
Chassis had some patching done when I got the vehicle 10 years ago but has been liberally Waxoiled every year since. Rear crossmember was replaced approx 5 years ago in preparation for lots towing but just ended up using the L200. Rear tow ball and electrics work fine.
It's an honest vehicle and I welcome any inspection. I just haven't the time to keep it on the road or use it more than a couple of times per year
