what can i use to protect underneath the disco it is start in to rust

Many like the waxoyl, I used it on my 30 year old Jag and it was great, undo a few screws and bolts here and there and squirt it into the chassis as well as onto. Get inside the door panels as well and whilst in there spray the window mechanisms, they run nice and smooth and quiet for years after.

DO NOT PARK ON A DECENT DRIVEWAY FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS AFTER APPLICATION

do you spray it on every thing

I mask off brake pipes (have heard of MOT failures due to not being able to check the pipes for corrosion due to coating), brakes, springs & shocks. Everything else is fair game. ;)

has anyone had a looksie at that hammerite magic magnetic applicator thing that they're advertising on TV, something to do with it reaching everywere.

It's Electrostatically charged. The idea is that the paint is attracted to the metal and so there's less overspray. Just use a brush or roller and yu'll get even less overspray..:D

i thort it was so it wud get to the bits that other paints carnt?

Well it will won't it as the paint passes the front edge of what ever yu'r painting the overspray will be pulled back due to it's Electrostatic charge and it'll hit the back of whatever yur painting.. As to how effective it'll be thas a different quesion all togeffer.

I've seen that electrostatically charged painting malarky used in an industrial setting - it worked brilliantly.
