My dads just bought a 53 plate Freelander 1 Kalhari and he wanted to make his dog cage fit in the boot so we set to work on cutting it up to make it abit smaller to fit then we came up with the idea of making a platform for it to sit on so he would still have some assessable storage when the cage is in place this is the platform made up and in place just need to finish the cage off now hope this gives someone an idea for there's too!

No mate not really as the dog cage is in the back all the time so whilst we had the wood and carpet to hand we just thought we would make it to give him storage underneath!

Easy enough to do if you have a jigsaw took us about an hour to make just made the template out of news paper!

Why don't you just get a dog guard that fits behind the rear seats? If you want to get flash, you can also get one of the guards that bolts on the back door to go inside the rear window. You then only get slobber on the 2 side windows!

Yer he looked at getting the 2 gaurds Grumpygel but he wanted to stop them from getting to the side windows as one of the dogs thinks he's a window cleaner! Haha and we already had all of the stuff to make it anyway we've finished it today here's the pics!
