Doe's adding soundproofing under your bonnet make any noticeable difference to the noise levels, outside, and inside your truck.

I can hold of some cheap, and just wondering if its worth it

Thanks:)

fooking truck! this is a landrover site not a ERF site

fooking truck..... fooking cavernous vagina - call it what you like

All I want to know is , is this soundproofing under me bonnet gonna make my landy a tad quieter

Yes it will. You can also put more sound proofing material under the floor mats and up the interior fire wall as is possible. I removed all the seats and put material under there as well.

get the soundproofing stuff, rip off two bits about 1cm x 1cm, roll up and insert in yer ears. You'll be amazed at the difference - and easy to fit or remove if you come to sell- plus you can transfer it to another vehicle, or use to drown out the X factor.

I stuck some self adhesive sound deading underneath my bonnet and it did indeed make a difference. I think it is worth buying reasonable quality stuff, I used a company off ebay selling sommat called "edead" I think. I had enough to cover the inside of the bonnet twice and put the rest on my transmission tunnel and the rear of the footwells. regards.
