Timing belt fitted today (and yesterday) had to destroy the aux. crankshaft pulley to get it off and then found cambelt slipped one tooth on the crankshaft... He reckons it's like a new car now, although he's not happy about me pointing out that he also now needs waterpump and tensioner bearings, radiator, P gasket... oh and now he has power it's showing up a slight slip on the clutch!...

F*cking landrovers... I think I heard him mutter!

Now how easy a fix was that?
If you had done what Uncle CharlesY said in the first place .... nag ... nag ....

But at least it is fixed!
