with all the local farmers worrying about landys going missing in the area i've decided to invest in a disklok. my steering lock doesn't work so would this be a waste of time and money they seem to be all singing and dancing do they work?

Yes.;)

hows it stop you turning the steering wheel ??

just looked for a detailed pic but could,nt find one.

Surely if his steering lock doesn't work its not going to be efficient??

That's right. It'll only do 23mpg instead of 30mpg.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::doh::p:p:p

Better than nuffink but not as good as having the steering locked.

you could always try a clutch claw or a pedal box that way i wont matter if the steering wheel turns they will not be able to use the pedals. alternatively you could alway use something on the pedals and steering wheel. overkill but it all helps:D

clutch claws only work in conjunction with other devices such as a disklok. A landy with a clutch claw alone is still easily stolen.

I had to fit a clutch claw to the defender 90 2004 as the disklock would not fit over the steering wheel due to the centre padding on the oe s/wheel.

I changed the steering wheel to get around that problem.
