Hi all,
after falling in love with Landrovers and their history and reading some great books and armfuls of magazines, I have finally decided to buy my first landy
My love for these vehicles got off to a shaky start when I was 15 years old and on my way to a scout camp one Easter weekend. I think it was a series as it seemed old and was back in 1983. Was sitting behind the driver and we were going around a left hand bend at about 30mph, when I raised my arm to drink from a can and my jacket pocket hooked on the door latch and opened the door.
I fell out at about, slid across the road and down a bank.
Luckily there was no oncoming traffic but I did sustain a broken foot and a lot of road rash
Fourteen years later my mate managed to role a jeep in Turkey and again I found my myself lying outside of my vehicle
Anyway, I am looking to buy a 2000 110 Defender TD5 so any advice is welcomed
