Hi London Landyers!
I'm a long time prospective Land Rover buyer BUT live in Zone 2 in the big smoke near Greenwich.
As you may already know, the ULEZ zone extends from Zone 1 in Oct 2021 out to include most of inner London from October 2021 meaning it will be £12.50/day inside N & S circulars for non-compliant vehicles. This will therefore include my house :\
Historic vehicles (i.e pre-1981 (by 2021) or 40 years before present) are exempt which presents a nice excuse and opportunity to invest in a series Landy.
So I wondered if Series III and earlier vehicles that have had the 200TDI Disco conversion would still qualify as exempt? Clearly, the engine within said historic vehicle will not be 'historic' in a compliance sense in spite of its increased efficiency.
Anybody have any experience and/or insight? Or any links to other threads online covering this?
Cheers!
