No idea, I think it was someone on here a few years ago. There was a big thread about running TD5s off Bio or Veg, some said they liked it, some said the TD5 didnt like it. Then one bloke cropped up with bloody kerosene!

The one from the LR box here seems that it's made by Hunters http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-D...548f78&pid=100013&rk=1&rkt=12&sd=400583000360 .... though IMO any well known reliable brand would do the job(Mahle, Mann, Coopers, etc)

Little update on the filter.

Received it and replaced the old one with no trouble at all. The UFi filter is the same shape as the original LR one (it probably is the original one, with different markings), down to the tapered bottom where the water sensor screws into. It's even painted black, whereas the Cooper filter I have as a spare is not painted and straight all the way to the bottom.

Pretty happy, considering it's half the price of an original LR filter.

Sorry, should've mentioned it before.

Got it off micksgarage_uk on eBay. About the only place where I could find it.

Apparently the new UFI warehouse will be up and running this month so we'll be able to buy it directly from them.
