+1, you notice the difference when not fitted, people tend to over tighten em, that's the problemMine is still in place ... sorry it's staying where it is!
I think the major problem might have been the bolt on the inlet manifold side. Very often the captive nut on the little bar holding the cover in place would start to turn making the thing almost impossible to get off or put back on.
i think he means the engine cover!, not the underside skid panel!Mine didn't have one when I got it. Keep looking for them but with no joy although I did spot one for the V8 a while back. My old Trafic had one and it was surprising how much crap it stopped being flung up into the engine bay in bad weather and want to see if it does the same on the D2.

Although there is an undertray-engine bay sound deadening panel KRB100760 for the TD5. That's missing on mine and have heard they get discarded to make access easier.
my mrs accused me of being somewhere else today when i was looking at your pic!!! lolBlack "53" plate
Lindale now! old fella lives in ulverston, Oubas Hill,You in the Grange area? I've got two black ones near me and I always have to do a double-take when I see one and I'm not in mine!
Im after the panel that bolts under the engine .
