Hi has anyone still got the under engine acoustic panel for the td5. I think most people took them off anx got tid if them but i want one. So if you have one or know of one for sale can you let ne know. Where they really bad?

Mine didn't have one when I got it. Keep looking for them but with no joy although I did spot one for the V8 a while back. My old Trafic had one and it was surprising how much crap it stopped being flung up into the engine bay in bad weather and want to see if it does the same on the D2.

Mine is still in place ... sorry it's staying where it is!
I think the major problem might have been the bolt on the inlet manifold side. Very often the captive nut on the little bar holding the cover in place would start to turn making the thing almost impossible to get off or put back on.

+1, you notice the difference when not fitted, people tend to over tighten em, that's the problem

i think he means the engine cover!, not the underside skid panel!

under engine acoustic panel threw me if that's the case. Still got the top cover on mine and it's staying put!
Although there is an undertray-engine bay sound deadening panel KRB100760 for the TD5. That's missing on mine and have heard they get discarded to make access easier.

well he ain't come back yet to clarify! is your car black?52 plate?

You in the Grange area? I've got two black ones near me and I always have to do a double-take when I see one and I'm not in mine!

I just looked up that part number as I don't have the under engine cover either......Christ on a bike - £336! (LR Parts)

Wonder how many times a garage has 'forgotten' to put one of those back on....
