Those rims look in good condition too.
They were white, I painted them Limestone. But they were in very good condition anyway.

Are you sure the STT’s weren’t 31.x”? I have some in the shed and there is no way they are over 32” tall. And I’ve not worn an inch and a quarter of tread off them. When new my Cooper STT in 235/85 r16 stood 32" 5/8ths tall, that's plenty tall enough to be considered nearly 33" tall, Lee had some remould Malatesta in 235/85 and they were closer to 33" 1/2 tall at 26psi, but yeah deffo too wide for stock 5" 1/2" rims.

BFG say 31.7"I measured my BFG ATs at 32" on std LWB/110 rims. I've got them on now and I've also got one on a modular (6 or 7J?) I'll do some measuring and report back.
Ok, not wanting to dispute you, but 32" 5/8th is a lot bigger than any 235 tyre I've seen rated or measured. If it was 31" 5/8ths I'd believe it.100% 235/85 r16
€200 each at the time too
I'm thinking about getting a set of new tyres for the Landy (1972 SWB series 3 diesel).
