Need a good deal on a set of tyres for a Freelander. I'm told that replace the front only is bad and will kill my diff and VCU.

I'm local to West Sussex.

I do mostly road driving country lanes and occasional motorway miles.

Stefan.

If you get them mail ordered check what your local fitter will charge you for a new valve, balance and disposal of the old tyre - you might find it cheaper to do what I suggested bearing mind camskill are in Cumbria and you are in West Sussex.

thanks for all the responses! Don't really want to pay for four tyres since I'm getting married next month!

Thanks,
Stefan.

DONT DO IT :D i mean just 2 tyres get 4 the same read up on bell engineerings site on tyres and the pitfalls good luck anyway :)

If you have a branch of Costco near you and are a member , try them - they are cheap for tyres anyway and are currently doing an extra 20% off Michelins - and they have a fitting bay.
Good for oils too.

Costco really let me down this week.
I went in yesterday to order five Michelin Lattitude Tour in 225/55R17 for my wife's F1 (£135 each fitted with the discount) and they say their supplier hasn't any in stock and doesn't have a date for when they might be getting some more. As I have been waiting for a couple of months for this offer to come along again and she really needs some tyres I am looking at other makes as the Michelin's are over £175 each elsewhere.
