I've done a search on here and google but it's all about 16" tyres. My freelanders got 17's. I want some bf Goodrich at's. I know they don't come in the right size but is there a size that will fit with no mods, or am I better off getting some 16" modulars?

You'll probably be better off getting a set of 16's. Lots more choice of AT tyres.

Go for 16's, thats why I ditched the 17's that came with my car, the tyre choice and quality of such choice was crapola!

I quite like the 17" Evolution alloys on my car, but I have a complete set of 16" wheels I bought off eBay. Currently they have my winter tyres on them.

I have General Grabber UHP on the 17" wheels. They appear to be quite good. Not tried them for serious off road work yet.

So any 16 in wheels with the proper nugs will fit? I'm also in the range on buying some AT tires

John craddocks does some nice ones. A few Freelanders have bought them. Have a look at the coopers

Cheers mate ill have a proper look when I'm not on my phone. Need to do some research on here on tyre sizes as well cause I don't want to mess around with lift kits ect

Tyre size esp width will depend on the offset of your rims, mine have negative offset which lets me have 235/70/16, I took 215/80/16 off, these two sizes have the same rolling circumference.

You do have to watch that the wheels will fit over your front callipers. I don't know what year your FL is. If it is 2001 onwards and the wheels are wrong I believe you will need 5mm spacers to help them fit. Best to try before you buy.

You can get off set rims up to 38MM then there is no need for spacers and longer wheel studs. A cheaper alternative

My genuine ones are ET48.....
