just though i would post a warning here
i had 2 of my tyres slashed in greenan castle car park just outside ayr while i was out walking my dog , the police said its not the first report they have had with regards 4x4 tyres getting slashed , im not sure weather is the local f**kwits or someone targeting my landy for parts who knows

Its a freelander so nobody will want it for parts, and if they did I don't see the logic in slashing the tyres.

the logic behind it is they take out 2 of your tyres hoping you have only 0ne spare and have to go off and get the other one fixed then they fix the flat tyre and drive off - qouted from what the police told me this morning
 
It's well known criminals disable a vehicle and pass by later on to see if it's still there. Some owners may give up if it's late. Can be a big mistake as it's easy pickings when knowones about at night.
