Big fan of Kumho myself. Try camskill for tyres as well but agree with ebay route. Sometimes you can pick up brand new tyres for good prices but you do take a chance with the date of when they were made. Most of mine have been no more than a year old so it's been good, part worn is more hit & miss though. Too many sellers listing something with 5mm as having 7-8mm so a good piccy is essential. I try to only buy new or very nearly new.

Your average joe isn't going to want or benefit from Mud Terrains in a Freelander. Heck, I don't even want those and I have a disco. Sure, they will help prevent you from getting stuck in the mud, but they will help prevent you from staying stuck on the road. :p

Best bet would be some All Terrains. General Grabber ATs are good value for money and perform well. They're also quiet. (quieter than Michelin Synchrones)

I was not suggesting anyone would want them on a FL i was just pointing out with ebay you take a chance some you win some you lose

Finally had the General Grabber AT, 215/65 R16 put on all four corners today. Tyre pressure is 30 all round. Big big difference to the odd ones that were on. Handling seems better and road noise far less.£80+ vat fitted. Thanks for the opinions guys.:)
