iv just got a set of 4 x Insa Turbo Dakar 265 75 16 off road mud tyres. with 13mm tread for £170 i have a 2" lift spring and shocks, what i want to know is do i still need to to the trimming as the table says or is the for a standard truck ???

Front endcap trimming
Steering stops
Possible bump stop height.
Spacers needed for spare tire

Fit 'em and see. Landrover tolerances mean that some vehicles will need trimming, some don't. My 31's meant offside rear needed trimming, but the nearside didn't!

Mind, I didn't bother trimming either side ...

Just reverse up a pile of bricks or tyres or something and look where it rubs, that's what I did with my 235x85s.

iv found that with the lift i should be ok BUT i can not get full lock cos they rub, so going to play with that nut that stops u getin full lock, wish i knew the name of things lol. am tryin me best lol

I find the radius arms work just as well as lock stops,...............







just end up with a polished bit where the tyre rubs :doh:

i'v found the lock-stops keep bending on mine wen im on full lock. even replaced with stronger ones! but when they are adjusted so far out theres just too much leverage on em. anyone know how to stop this??

i use the radius arms atm but MOT guy will fail me agen this year if they touch
