Got the money pit working alright(for now). Now its time for tyres.I know its an emotive subject but got it narrowed down to two.Probably 75%road 25%lanes.Geolander at/s or general at2 on 16s.The yokos are a 100 pound cheaper for all four corners. Thanks in advance

Would have thought either of those would be a good tyre, both pretty established makes.
Lovely on the road I should think, and fine for dry laning. Greasy grass surfaces you night need a bit more tread.
Reckon I would go with the cheaper ones myself, but then I am a tightwad miser! :D

Which ones.Read so many reviews but there is so much conflicting info.eg geolander sidewalls,at2 et braking etc.Just like to ask real people who i can clarify things with

Never had either myself, and I don't read tyre reviews either, just use the sort of thing that has worked for me over thirty years! :)
I have Roadians on my Disco, and they are fine on the road, I have a set of AT for the Ninety too, they don't see much action, I almost always use the mud tyres round the farm. But they are fine on the road too, they are Toyo, I think.
And either of the two you have selected should be a better tyre than Toyo or Nexens!

I just stick on what the LR factory fitted which I found are perfectly acceptable for "75%road 25%lanes" after all LR have done a suitability test, but I do notice after searching that the tyres u quote have a speed rating is a lot lower for the size I would have.. so I wouldn't go there.

Thanks for the reply discool but the geolander is the same rating as standard whilst the at2 is rated to 118mph.Would be scary at that in a td5 :)
