I respect your opinion, but who are you going to impress by telling them what tyres you have?
245/75/16 should fit without any problems, so long as your springs aren't too saggy. Stepping up to 265/75/16 means trimming on a Disco though
My springs are half decent, next to Nicks (disco dads) who had a 2 inch lift mine looked near enough the same height, he was running 235/75's I think but still mine was about the same height as his.
The Wranglers have a very similar tread pattern to the Discoverers Apart from the fact that the tread seems to be going the other way
he likes them and says they do well in the wet so thats good enough for me!My dads mate had a problem with rotting on the inside of the sealing face of his Goodyear Wrangler MTR's, So he ditched them and got KM2's
I was after a matching spare, but couldn't find a Discoverer STT so he gave me one of his old Wranglers, three of them were rotting slightly, the one I got was ok

I've decided on me tyres now anyway so this thread can go on the usual derailment into anything goes
