I respect your opinion, but who are you going to impress by telling them what tyres you have? :D

I just like the side wall print :D

245/75/16 should fit without any problems, so long as your springs aren't too saggy. Stepping up to 265/75/16 means trimming on a Disco though ;)

Cheers :p My springs are half decent, next to Nicks (disco dads) who had a 2 inch lift mine looked near enough the same height, he was running 235/75's I think but still mine was about the same height as his.

Done some reading round on the Maxxis, some very mixed reviews on here and on the american sites.

80% of people say they're **** hot and work well in most conditions and the other 20% say they dry rot, aquaplane and wear fast……..so to settle this I've Pm'd Mr Noisy as he's been running them on a disco. However any additional input on these would be appreciated as they're gonna be fitted tomorrow afternoon if I don't say otherwise.

My dads mate had a problem with rotting on the inside of the sealing face of his Goodyear Wrangler MTR's, So he ditched them and got KM2's :D
I was after a matching spare, but couldn't find a Discoverer STT so he gave me one of his old Wranglers, three of them were rotting slightly, the one I got was ok :D The Wranglers have a very similar tread pattern to the Discoverers  Apart from the fact that the tread seems to be going the other way  :D

Goodyears aint the same tyre :doh:

Whats the biggest tyre i can fit on my car?

Depends is it a gaewoo ? :pound:

I've decided on me tyres now anyway so this thread can go on the usual derailment into anything goes :D

New tyres fitted :D they were the Buckshot Mudders and I'm very happy with them so far, no extra noise and no loss of comfort. Pumped them to 36psi and the BFG's are on 32 currently

Got two more on the way for the front now cos I felt like matching the set
