hi, im looking at getting a new set of tyres, more than likely they will be goodrich mud terrains so i want to know what sizes and widths to go for. either 235/85R16 or 265/75R16, if anybody has any advice on what difference it would make between the tyres it would be much appreciated, thanks, mat

The answer may well be a while coming because this is a question nobody has ever asked before so I doubt anyone knows...

no i havent, would you reccomend them ??
To me, wider is better. All the bollocks about cutting through mud to find firm ground is all well and good if you've got wheels as big as a tractor but with 33 or 34 inch tyres you don't want to sink. 265/85 r16 would be about as tall as you can go with a standard setup or 285/75. Mine are 285/75 r16 and were 35" when I measured them.
