I'm interested in folks' recommendations for best all season road tyres for a 4.0 V8 petrol P38.

Mine runs on standard 255/55R18's.

Obviously looking for tyres with excellent wear, grip, fuel economy and low noise.

I know some websites rank tyres in terms of the above factors, but looking for personal experiences.

Need a set of 4. Budget ~£90-£110 a corner.

At the end of the day, I guess I will be at the mercy of French tyre suppliers - in terms of what they actually stock!

do you mean 255/55R18? that would be standard fit
Can't comment on road-only tyres but i run general grabber at3, which I consider 'all rounder' tyres, they're in that budget, all weather and i've had no issue with them so far

As I only use mine in the winter in Crimea I have a set of Winter Tiger Tyres on mine (owned by Dunlop). However as the Crimea is on the same latitude as the south of France the weather is normally warm so I consider them an allrounder. Its just the law there to have winter tyres on in winter. But honestly when the snow does come or we go inland where it is winter they perform really well and on hot days equally as well, Haven't noticed any road noise and fuel consumption is the the same as before but at only £50 to fill the tank on 4.6 i don't really car about that too much. However each to their own.

I had nexan winguard suv on the p38. Great in snow and pretty good in the wet and dry weather too.
I was surprised how well they lasted through summer in the dry.

General Grabber AT2. Surpringly quiet, excellent grip and hard wearing. A good all rounder and have lasted longer than any other tyre.

I run Nexen Rodian HP Extra load on both mine, good value, long lasting, good grip in the wet and very quiet.
I can find you my link to the supplier I use, quick delivery and most local garages with fit them for you for not a lot.
