My Freelander has 215/70 15 tyres on it.
There's still plenty of life in them so even though the speedo is about 10% out I can live with that.
The book settings are 26psi I believe for 195 tyres. But they look very soft at these pressures and the ride is 'squidgy' for want of a better word.
Is there anyone with these sizes that's found a good pressure? Or shall I just whack 32 psi all round in and hope for the best?
Thanks.

Don't whack em up to 32, as this could prove to be very dangerous. I'd start at 28 and see how it goes. A firmer tyre has little contact with the road, and therefore less grip.

roughly chalk line across tyres, adjust so after a hundred yards or whatever the chalk line is evenly worn.

I've got 225/60/17's on mine (2003 Freelander 1.8)

Mine are at 35 all round. I did question this with the tyre fitters, but they insist its the right pressure.
