ok people i am not asking what size fits etc. i know what size i want. what i am interested in is how many miles people are getting out of different mud terrains tyre as i am about to replace my bfg all terrains on my 90, they have now done nearly 60,000 miles and getting low.

i am looking at bfg muds, coopers discoverer s/t maxx, and insa turbo dakars.

its my only vehicle so is used daily so i am looking at them lasting a while.

what are people getting out a set of mud tyres?

I have Cooper Discoverer STT's - errm... they're doing fine, but, not done 10,000's of miles on them to be able to offer much help

My insa sahara turbos have done nearly 10,000 miles, have gone from about 27mm tread to about 22mm tread, I would expect they will wear a bit quicker as I get lower but I would hope 30K out of the tyres, not bad for 'cheap' muds and they perform really well on/off road, will definitely be getting another set when they wear out

Looking on 235/85R16 120N Insa Turbo Sahara Tyres order online from Tyres Direct they only have 18mm to start with! If these are the same tyres?!

I've had Dakars on mine for over 3 years now and about 20k miles and they've still got at least 10mm of tread left. That's with a fair bit of laning and some off roading too.

normally BFG's without a thought, but my new fender came with Insa dakars and so far been really impressed.
