Hi,

I currently have Insa Turbo Special Tracks on my Discovery, 265 75 16. The rear 2 need replacing as they both have slow punctures and are low on tread. At some point soonish i'd like to get larger tyres, but I can't afford to buy 5 at the moment.

What's the difference between these 2 tyres?

The tread pattern looks the same, and it looks like an easy way to save myself £40.

Cheers.

I don't have the time to open the links, but the tyre size is identical is it not?

Hi - yeah the tyre size is the same. They look identical apart from one has a different side wall. I just wanted to know why one was 20 quid cheaper a corner (are they crap...).

the cheaper one is a "remould"
:)

Hey - i thought that at first, but in the "tech specs" on both tyres, it says they are both remoulds.

I think i've figured it out, anyway - the cheaper ones are impossible to get hold of and out of stock everywhere i've looked!

Well that's a question to ask the supplier, there may be a position to negotiate on the price for the tyre u fancy :)

Add: do you really want a remould?

Good idea.

For now, yeah - they're only temporary and I have an every day car that I use. The Discovery is just my toy!
