iv'e done a search for this but can't find any info, i'm thinking of trying some two stroke oil in my diesel p38, has any one got an idea of what sort of ratio i need to use, i believe i need to put so many millilitres of two stroke for every litre of diesel i put in, i generally put £20 of fuel in at a time that works out at about 14.5 litres, so any suggestions please? if any one has tried this are there any real benefits? or is a waste of time?:confused::confused::confused:

I put a cup full in with 20 quid (not a mug):)
 
Cheapo low ash mineral two stroke oil - NOT the expensive synthetic stuff. Buying it bulk from Morris Lubricants will save you a few bob.
 
Save your money and use it to fill the tank, if you can only afford 14 litres at a time I think you need to.

I'm feeling the pain now after nearly 60k of home made fuel mine has become a right pain!! and I think I need a new FIP :rolleyes:

adding 2 stroke will thicken your fuel causing stain on your in tank pump. Thicker fuel will also cause problems when going up hill or towing, the only way around this would be to reduce the viscosity by adding some petrol or acetone, both of these are solvents and will wear your FIP and injectors faster, thus undoing your original plan of adding 2 stroke oil for protection :crazy:
