Hi Guys and Girls

The imobiliser does not always deactivate after I press the fob button, I'm told its normal on a Disco 1 (M) but was wondering if there is an easy fix to this?

Also I bought a spare wheel which I was told is off a disco 1 but it won't fit the spare bracket, My old spare was nicked just after I got the car so I'm not sure if there is something missing or are all disco wheels different sizes?

Thanks in advance

When you say it wont fit on the bracket do you mean the holes don't line up with the studs? If so they I'd say its not a Disco 1 spare. Check the tyre size as well, does it match the existing ones?
You might just need a new battery in the fob for the remote. Start with the easy fixes

I've changed the battery but still no luck, It works but its annoying.

The wheel had the wrong size tyre on it when I got but changed that, Are spares different from the other tyres?

Thanks

I always have to press my remote button 3 or 4 times to get it to lock, is this a knowen fault?

Your disco spare is the same as the other wheels all be it may be not an alloy. It should fit otherwise whats the point in having it?

Does the red led light on the remote fob? My one did not and it's the button that's fubarred, I'm using the key at present.
