Hi
My turbo on my Freelander 1 (with the L series Diesel) has blown. Can anyone tell me if any of the turbos from the rover range will fit ie the 220 etc. I can't afford a new or remade one, so thought the rover one may do the job. Any advice gratefully recieved.

if You have the 1549S Turbo, then they are also used on the following Austin Rover vehicles.
220Sdi
420 SDi
420 Gsdi
620 litre
All with the 2.0 doozil engine used in 1995/1996.
It is also used on Citroen, Fiat, Lancia, Nissan, Opel, Otosan, Peugeot, Renault, Saab, Suzuki & Volvo vehicles.

Hi Mad Hat Man
The freebie is a w reg 2000. It has the Lseries engine and i do believe it is the GT1549s.
The following numbers are on the old turbo GT1549 PMF100490 45 2222-4 DB32044A
If this helps at all.
