hi all help please.which way round do the vac hoses go on my td4 turbo vacuum tank. at the moment the hose to the turbo soliniod is at the back and the hose that goes the brake servo is at the front end of tank.is this correct or does it make no differance

That's the way they leave the factory, but I doubt it makes much difference, providing the pump and boost solenoid are at opposite ends. The vacuum accumulator is there to help reduce rapid fluctuations (pulses) of vacuum which the pump causes. This prevents the fluctuations reaching the boost solenoid, which would wear the vane slides quickly.

I am sure there is a valve in the accumulator as I accidently had the pipes on the wrong way round and was not getting much vacumm the vacuum pipe of the vacuum pump goes onto the back of the reservoir and the one that goes on the front goes to the vacuum valve on the turbo.i just can not find the picture at the moment but when I do I will post it

here is what you want
