Hi all. I'm new to this site. I bought my Freelander 2 about 18 months ago and it was running fine, now the Turbo has carbon build up, would anyone recommend getting a mobile de-carbon firm out to clean it, and if so, can anyone recommend one in the Liverpool area. Also, does this mobile cleaning actually work. Many thanks.

Bare with me, not sure how this works. Don't understand why a VW video

Because VW fan boys are as bad if not worse than LR fan boys.
Plus they both run vgt and when you run a vgt diesel light it cokes up, first experienced by the VW boys many years ago, as years ago VW were well ahead of the game on power/economy/reliability.
So what you get is people buy a modern diesel for the economy, then drive it like their grandma, this then causes all sorts of issues, every now and then drive it like you stole it!

Ah right, someone else told me to rag it a bit. I've bought some additives so I'll put my pedal to the metal a bit. Cheers for the info, much appreciated

definitely feed it onions now and again, get it nice and hot and it will keep itself clean (once you have decoked it that is)
