Do you have the original radio or have you swapped it.
On the discovery 3 radio you could add in Bluetooth, wonder if it could be done to the p38

I simply swapped the radio for a modern unit, gaining the microphone for calls as well and then traded the old unit for some bits.
There is a mod on the YouTube that is a little more involved than I wanted to be.

I just use a little FM transmitter plugged into the phone, choose a channel on the radio that is free, works a treat, full bandwidth unlike bluetooth
I've got one of those for the Volvo, it sounds good. About 30€ from Amazon
I got one for Rangie and mx5. Play what I like and no ads like the radio
I have a P38a 4.0 L thor that I took off the road almost 2 years ago as I needed to run from North East of UK to South East weekly for a year and economics said get a cheap diesel. I had heat problem when the water pump went and I had no choice but to drive it in short spells then let it cool down to get home. I will need to do a rebuild or replace it and wonder does the 4.6 thor need the matching ECU or will the original 4.0 one be ok?
