Hello there can anyone point me to a uk dealer for tuffy cubby boxes
been looking for ages and only place i can find is paddock but there out of stock! i want the one with a radio compartment.

a company called mobile storage systems makes them to but it looks like they only sell them at shows.
2.5 na90 just sold looking at 300tdi90 on wednesday cant wait hehe!!
 
I just bought a sheet of 1mm steel 2mtr x 1mtr for ten quid & have just cut all the pieces required to make my own cubby box. and still got enough steel left to make at least three more.
 
I have the MSS one ....cost me nowt....and its excellent....stops water ****ing on your radio from your sunroof too....

MSS sell em online as well but daren't put their prices online incase someone see's them, and has an heart attack and the relatives sue for damages. :D

If someone would produce the measurements the bits can be ordered to the correct size in either aluminium, sheet or stainless by clickmetal or similar - I'll try and find a web link.

What's the score on welding aluminium?

Although it would be quite easy to bolt together using aluminium angle.

Ally can be welded but you need ally wire in the mig and I think a special gas.

Oh, and you need to be in a well ventilated areas as the gasses that are given off are obnoxious.(or am I thinking of galve or is it both?)

Probably beyond my DIY have a go skills and it would probably look like pigeon sh1t.

Still, I recon that I could do a good mechano job.
 
Ah mecano job would be good, use those bolts that you can't get a spanner on, coach bolts??

Fund is growing slowly, not technically a dedicated landy fund, it's just what money I have, it will decrease when bills get paid and increase when I get paid. :)
