hi all

just done a search but couldnt find wot i was looking for:rolleyes:

i've been offered some avon rangemaster tube type tyres for a bargain price(fitted to s3 lwb tubed rims). will i be able to fit these to disco steel wheels without tubes or will i have to have tubes.
i want to keep the disco rims if possible as they have been reversed so i still get full steering lock with 235/85 and 750's fitted.
any help/advise/sarcasm etc appreciated

not 100% on this but i seem to think the hole size or position of the valve and the shape of the rim says that you cannot fit tubed tyres to a tubless rim,

yeah i know they are different but wasnt sure if it was safe to put tubed tyres onto tubeless rims without tubes

just been to see local indy tyre place and they say will fit but must have tubes but would rather not fit em by choice
