I've searched and nothing's came up. Does anyone know if a roof rack, even a small one, for a truck cab exists? Or is it a case of making my own?

As i am soon to be carrying out the same conversion Mr Wolf i have looked at the same.

3 options i see:

galvanised square thing either truck cab size or over hang:

There is also the patriot/frontrunner/hannibal looking rack option.

Then there is my prefered option. While at the adventure overland show the other week me and MarkL came across a company offering camper conversions, he had a nice looking roof rack.

Ooh look at the shiny shiny. I like em all, especially the full length one. I'm scared to check out the prices though but I do want one

the full length hannibal i think is £1300! :eek:

The MCB one is the best modern looking cheaper example. And MarkL can vouch for his quality as well we both had a nose around and theres no over weld or crap parts, fixings were stainless from what we saw.
 
I can't justify spending that much cash on a roof rack lol. My last one only cost 60 quid and I would have kept that had it not been part of the deal for the truck cab. Might just look into buying a 90 one or perhaps even a disco one and cutting it down, can't be too difficult. Surely?

Shouldnt be an issue if your handy with a welderizer thingy.
 
I like the eco friendly idea but not sure it would hold together at speeds upwards of 50mph.

That's not a bad price at all mate. Where are you based?
 
Do you sell on eBay Stu? Wondered if there is any way of seeing your handy work? In the not too distant future I'm gonna be in the market for a rear disco bumper and a roof rack as well.

I do sell on ebay but its cheaper if you buy off here

Im getting all my pics sorted out some time this week.

Thats fine with me
I add spot light brackets to the front and cb mount to the rear
 
Can you make me a truck cab one please? Any pics? It would need to be able to be stood on!! Hi-lift mount as well maybe?
