Hi all I've just bypassed the fuel tank with a can which I plumbed straight into the fuel pump and it run fine revved up I thought problem over it it tick over for about 2 mins revved it up again and it wouldn't rev up and the smoke was back what else could it be any ideas anyone ?????? Losing the will to live lol cheers paul

New filter and lift pump should solve it. And check the pipes for any air leaks and check the leak off pipes going between the injectors.
