Hello mate

It's likely to be an ABS sensor playing up. Could also be your brake light switch helping to confuse things too. As for fitting, there are people on this forum who will no doubt help you with that question.

But also, do a search on here you will find this has all been well covered in the past...

Cheers

sorry crafty i have had a zog glitch [i was thinkin hd un srs] reet lets start afresh abs. . .check all yer yokes [the metal bits that the wheel sensors pick up on ] for no ****e and clean ,no damaged sensors [yer got four] look at wiring for chaffing ,each sensor nds a sygnal to the abs ecu, un if one appears to have apoor sygnal [brake locking] then tells the high speed soliniod for the brake of that wheel [hydrolics] to stop. . . .so as yours is on all the time then, sensors furst then wiring then ecu for abs. . . .best do a visual furst then get a diagnostics, i could run you through the testing but its a minefield. still worth a check on the brake switch connection, fink yer got to remove ya gear lever leffer bit un a purple wire comes ta mind. . .best oh luck earthling :)

had to take freelander to dealers in the end as no one could find out why all the lights were on was told it was the ECU but it turned out to be the sensor on the front drivers side wheel not as bad as the above but still £350 to fix it. they said it could also have been the brake light switch as that can do the same. thanks for your help anyway MING.
