Lol... good luck. There's also no MOT records. It's probably in a few national geographic photos of some african war by now.

I findit odd that it's not been taxed in 17 years. That and that there's absolutely no MOT record on the DVLA website. Since you say it was sold approx 20 years ago, you're looking at a couple of years before it was taken off of the road. Without a SORN either so my guess is it's missing, stolen, scrapped or just sitting in a barn.

Thank you for your time, was worth a ask. Was odd theirs no history on dvla site as always remember my dad crying every year when it went for mot, shame if it has gone as it wasn't seen to be special then but know I believe it is. Also it wasn't a 3.5 its 3.8 was found out when crank broke and was hard to find parts to fit, was belived to be early vougue if not the first 5 door of production line and spent first 2 years being shipped to and back from America

Hi just become owner of series 3 109 found in farm, got no vin plates or reg no paper work any one help?

No tax disc was half in bits, previous owner bought of eBay but then couldn't trace seller as done deal in person still has engine red plates on top number starts with 909 hard top, the chassis seems to be in really good condition, could you send picture of where chassis number could be

Couldn't just leave it had to have it even if the wife went nuts, already named her Jayne, but really needs some help or advice with it

there’s plenty of extremely knowledgeable people here

as @blue beasty mentions ref the chassis number , drivers side , front leaf spring dumb iron , ie where the front of the leaf spring joins the chassis, if i remember right it’s viewed through the drivers wheel arch on the chassis

looks a great project , do u have a dry place where u can work on it , ie barn, garage etc
