The 23 February we visited “Pitões das Júnias” a village of the IX century that has one monastery of the same date located in the “National Park of Peneda Geres”.

Always good to see another Portuguese around here...
Northern Portugal is great, if not for off roading, as biking roads, some really nice roads in the north, specially around Serra da Estrela with all the hairpins..

Yes really nice scenery in the North of Portugal, shall be travelling down again at Xmas
