Hi p38 4.6 Gems engine does anybody know what "invalid throttle angle data" means I have it as a gearbox fault on my nanocom
Any ideas would be appreciated
Thanks

Throttle position sensor? Can you live feed the throttle position sensor or pedal sensor if fly by wire?

It's not fly by wire. Thor has a throttle position sensor but not sure about gems.
I assume that this is fed to the gearbox to help it decide on what gear is used. However, if it was the sensor itself at fault I would have thought it would throw an engine ecu fault too.
Maybe bad wiring to gearbox ecu?

Thanks No gems isn't fly by wire it does have tps but wire from ECU could be a good shout as I cleaned underneath the car the other day maybe dislodged something will get under and have a look and get back to you

There's another thread about tge GEMS TPS. The part number is on there. Same part is used on some american car.
