I'm pretty sure the hub needs to be freed-up to get enough play to pull the shafts out.
I'm pretty sure that there are no oil seals in the replacement dif.
Not sure about the c-clip thing. I'm thinking I need to get some just in case, and they will probably be something autopart need to order in, usually next day, so I might as well order the seals as well, and while I am at it I may as well get the mounts. Dont want to get it all off then wait a day because one of the mounts is buggered.
what I dont get, is, if the c-clip pops out and pushes back in, what exactly is it doing?
