Hi,
Please forgive me if this has been done to death before.
I have quite a bit of vertical play on the transfer box front prop flange.
U/Js are good.
The steering is tingly at certain speeds and there is a dribble from the oil seal too.
It would seem the front bearing/ oil seal has had it.
My question is, can this be done in situ?
Or is transfer box removal in fact quicker?
Are the seals/bearing etc easily available, and is it a massive job?
I've trawled through the usual youtube stuff, most of which seems to be done on a bench.
Thanks for your patience,
Jim.
