I'd take life experience over a piece of paper- like the graduates who can't make a cup of tea.

I don't need to walk around trying to be better than everyone else, Reason the life experience on here is priceless. But going against the considered norms=the tide is against you

I know enough to put me own engine and gearbox in :D

Dont need 2 25 year outa date C&G cirtificates presented to me by a nobody to do that.....but if your proud of them.....bless, il send you a lollypop through the post

I've been repairing me own Bikes cars Landies for 33 years never took one to a garage except for MOTs and once to get the front brake discs off mondeo I had. Mechanic had to cut em off with a gas axe. I've taken a few transfer boxes and gear boxes out of a fair few motors.I do know you don't need to remove the gear box. Now I int sure why ya feel the need to get on my case about your **** advice. especially as I never got on your case about it.

But I'm rapidly coming round to Fanatic's way of thinking. & I have to say you really are beginning to look like Cuunt of the week material. :rolleyes:

I always post helpful advice ya jumped up twaat. Take this thread for instance, I've helped save the OP a fook load of unnecessary work and grief removing half his vehicle to do something that only need the removal of approx 10 nuts and bolts. I've helped you realise you haven't got a fooking clue how to remove a transfer box. and I've (inadvertantly) helped the rest of the peeps on this forum to realise what a cock you really are.

Now how fooking helpful have you been?? Twaat!! :mad:

tonto- your digging yourself a hole, further to this your making yourself look like a ****. why not just admit removing transfer box on it's own is
1)possible
2)safer than complete box and transfer box.

Regular, more like occasional **** stain-but lets go for it if you wish(I'm laughing at you not with you)

without wanting to get dragged into this argument about which way is better :p, surly its safter to remove it completly as ur not gonna get squashed by the gearbox should it fall. im sure it would be quiker as jut had to split gearbox and engine to do the clutch and it was an aboslute bi*ch to get the gearbox bak on by meslef. also how easy are the transfer boxes to move into position with the all the body work in place. arnt they quite heavy? :D
