good one :clap2:

any particular brand? :)

I bough two syphon pumps from Rolson they work fine and although they are a bit flimsy I don't expect I need to use them every day so they seem fine I have used them with diff oil too and they cope just fine.
Same ones here on Amazon but you can get them all over the place:

Yup I use those for autobox filling as well, with the EP oils, stand in bucket of hot water to thin a bit first - it helps

I use a pump type dispenser that fits onto the top of a 5 litre bottle, with a bit of plastic tube on the spout of it, works a treat and cheap. Speak to any cleaners you may have at work 'cos all their cleaning products come in these dispenser type 5 ltr bottles and the tops just happen to fit the thread on a 5 ltr oil container.

Tried this couple of days ago. Missus not happy she's now got a bowl of hand soap now (wasn't empty yet, but couldn't wait!)
Worked a treat!
Must have a leak, I was only "topping up", but manged to fit half a bottle in the gear box.

I was let down by halfords today. They said they had an oil pump however said pump was not there when I went to pick up my order. Decided that I was getting no where with the piston style pump that I had used for the main gearbox and hence needed to fashion something quick. I used a garden sprayer (hand pump version) which can be pressurised. Stuck tubing on it and popped the other end into the filler port. It took a while as the rate of transfer was slow however it did do the job with less spill and less effort.
