if it's on a dolly the front wheels will be off the floor anyway so steering lock won't matter. Your thinking of an A-Frame

A-Frame fastens to front bumper/chassis and all 4 wheel stay on the road.

Dolly has 2 small wheels and a spec-lift type arrangement. that lifts the front wheel off the road

Maybe he's hiding them round the board so Slob can find em all. Sort a like a treasure hunt:D

Thanks for all the advice to my origanal question. I've decided that a trailer is the best way to go.

But now I need some urgent help. I'm working away for a couple of days and have seen a very reasonably price trailer for sale, but I'm not certain if it's wide enough, so I'm after a favour. Could someone measure the width of a SWB for me. I'm after the measurement from the outside edge of the tyre across to the outsuide edge of the opposite tyre.

Thanks in advance :)

Here you go all the specs your likely to need Curtesy of LRUK Forum
