The 2 bolts that hold the top of my tow hitcheck to the rear crossmember have handle snapped leaving me on the A1 with a getz on a car trailer. Anyone close that could supply the 2 bolts?

I'd be worrying about the other bolts too if those have just randomly snapped

Think it might have been the laneing at the weekend as it was a bit of an anchor.

I am 100 yards from the southbound blyth services junction if anyone is able to help

Excellent I just need the 2 bolts. Annoyingly I have a pair at home. I have tools to fit them with me

if it came down to it, leave someone with the trailer (obv not too close) and drive to a shed/garage.. plenty in the area.

hopefully won't have that happen again now I have renewed the nuts and bolts with A4 marine spec nuts and bolts. all nuts and bolts checked and double checked to make sure they are tight aswell.

Once again big thanks to Topcat and the LZIR setup. really saved the day today

No worries, pleased i could help. I was only working in a village a mile and a half away and had some bolts of sorts in the van with me
