Your transfer box has three ratios ? Mine only has two and I would use high.

Try low solo and you will answer your own question.

Start with 1st gear, then move on to 2nd etc.
Expect braking distances to be increased, plan ahead more

Or as someone i used to know said.. if you don't crash, you're not trying hard enough
