you need to put transfer box in neutral so there is no drive to gear box,then tow as fast as you like,although that wont be that fast
 
about 6 mph but do you think the steering will follow though i have towed a s3 swb for hundreds of miles and the steering followed no problem

i take it the traction engine doesnt really notice the difference whether the landy is towing smoothly, on opposite lock, on its roof or in a ditch somewhere 500 yards back?!?! :D

just plodding along, not a care in the world. find the a frames tow better with a doozel on top of the axle. seem to like the extra weight.
